A Kukhri rehandled in Bog Oak, Cocobolo and Hessian Micarta

So it started like this:
The handle felt far too short for the blade and despite the finger grooves it felt like it wanted to fall out of the hand all the time.

So, a bit of chopping down of the tang to make it a stick tang, add a bit of Cocobolo, some hessian sacking and a bit of Bog Oak.....

It now allows a much wider variety of grips and feels secure to chop with.

The Bog Oak was wire brushed to pull out the softer fibres.
