A Green River knife glued up and ready for shaping.

All glued up and ready for shaping.....

This is a traditional shaped Green River style blade made by Chris Grant. I've stuck a handle on in Apple wood - this is some super light weight stuff and I just know when I soak this in warm oil that it's going to take lots on board and darken off a lot. It's going to be great!
I've taken a bit of a gamble with the look of the pins. As the wood is so light, I decided that I wanted a strong contrast so instead of using the normal brass or stainless steel pins, I want for black carbon fibre - not so traditional!!
